These Terms & Conditions govern all goods and services provided by Tasker & Shaw Menswear Ltd, including in-person and online consultations, made-to-measure garments, and usage of our website https://taskerandshaw.com. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Use of Website
 • You must be at least 18 years of age or have permission from a parent or guardian.
 • You agree not to misuse our website, hack it, or transmit malware.
 • We reserve the right to withdraw or amend website services without notice.
 • All content on the website is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.


3. Orders & Measurements
 • All garments are custom-made to your specific measurements and design preferences.
 • A consultation (online or in-person) is required to confirm measurements and fabric choices.
 • Final design approvals are necessary before garment production begins. These approvals will be kept on file for reference.


4. Product Information
 • We strive to ensure accuracy in descriptions, imagery, and pricing. However, occasional errors may occur.
 • All products are subject to availability and may vary slightly due to fabric batches or artisan techniques.
 • Swatches and fabric references are indicative but may not match final garments exactly.


5. Pricing & Payment
 • Prices are confirmed based on your selected fabric, style, and lining.
 • A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required to begin production.
 • The final balance is due before dispatch or at final fitting.
 • Payments are processed securely. We do not store card details.


6. Production & Lead Time
 • Made-to-measure garments typically require 4–6 weeks from final approval.
 • Lead times are indicative and depend on fabric availability and workshop capacity.
 • Delivery dates are not guaranteed but we will do our utmost to meet your deadlines.


7. Cancellation & Alterations
 • Orders can be cancelled prior to the start of production; however, the deposit remains non-refundable.
 • If the garment does not meet the agreed specification, we offer free adjustments within a reasonable timeframe.
 • Returns or refunds for custom garments are not accepted unless the item is faulty or deviates from the approved design.


8. Returns & Refunds (For Non-Custom Items)

If you purchase ready-made products via our website, you may return them under our Returns Policy, provided they are unused and in original condition. This does not apply to bespoke or made-to-measure garments.


9. Liability
 • We guarantee quality craftsmanship and inspect all garments before delivery.
 • If a fault occurs, please notify us within 7 days of receipt.
 • Our liability does not cover:
 • General wear and tear
 • Fabric flaws disclosed at consultation
 • Customer damage or misuse


10. Intellectual Property

All designs, photography, website content, and branding are the intellectual property of Tasker & Shaw Menswear Ltd.
No use, reproduction or distribution is permitted without our written consent.


11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be exclusively resolved in the courts of Carlisle, Cumbria.
