Made-to-Measure Wedding Suits, Built Around You.

Whether you're planning an intimate ceremony or a full-scale celebration, your outfit should feel every bit as special as the day itself. At Tasker & Shaw, we work with grooms, partners and wedding parties to create made-to-measure garments that feel elegant, comfortable and unmistakably personal.

This isn't about turning everyone into matching extras. It is about creating a look that suits you, works with the style of the wedding and makes you feel completely confident when the photographs start and the doors open.

Our wedding tailoring is about more than looking good. It is about feeling confident, comfortable and entirely yourself. From classic three-piece suits to contemporary separates, morning dress and destination wedding looks, we'll help you design something that suits both your shape and your setting.

At your consultation, held in our Carlisle, Newcastle upon Tyne or London studio, or by arrangement elsewhere, we'll guide you through fabrics, colours and personal touches to match the tone of your day. If you'd like your partner, best man or wedding party involved, we're happy to make it a shared experience. There is plenty of room and we'll even open a bottle of something fizzy if you wish.

Planning a wedding or civil partnership can feel overwhelming. This part won’t. From first fitting to final tweaks, we’ll take care of the details so you can focus on the big decisions. Because when the moment comes, you won’t just look the part, you’ll feel it too.

Made-to-measure two-piece suits start from £950. Your final price will depend primarily on the cloth and garments you choose, and we'll make that clear before you order.

When Should I Book My Wedding Suit?

We generally recommend having your first consultation between three and six months before the wedding. That gives us plenty of time to guide you through cloth and design choices, make the suit, carry out fittings and complete any final adjustments without last-minute pressure. Going too early isn't always ideal if your body shape may change before the day, while leaving it too late can reduce the options available.

Three to six months is a comfortable window for most clients. If you're working to a tighter timeline, get in touch. We'll always tell you honestly what is achievable and do our best to accommodate you.
